    I am a professional chimney sweep and take pride in offering a clean and prompt service. I am a registered member of the Institute of Chimney Sweeps.

    I sweep and clean all Multi Fuel, Wood Burners, Open Fires, Boilers, Stoves and Inglenook Fireplace with Insurance Certificates issued for your home insurance.

    How Often Should I Sweep My Chimney?

    Smokless Coals: Once a year
    Wood: Twice a year when in use
    Bitumous Coal: Twice a year
    Oil: Once a year
    Gas: Once a year
    Thatched Roofs: Twice a year

    or as advised by your insurance company.

    Also if you notice tar deposits in the chimney / stove, or a strong odour coming from the fireplace, or specks of soot dropping into the fireplace and draughts or smoke returning into the room.

    Birds nests should always be removed as they are a fire hazard.
